Fisher-Price has issued a fresh recall of millions of its “Rock ’n Play Sleepers” after there were at least eight new infant fatalities reported to bring the death toll to around 100. UPDATE: A previously-convicted child porn collector from Atlantic City was sentenced Thursday to more than 11 years in federal prison -- without parole -- for doing it again, authorities said. Cory Newman, a 46-year-old former U.S. Navy petty officer, must serve out just about all of the sentence handed down on Jan. 5 because there’s no parole in the federal prison system. A possibly armed shoplifter who was confronted by police outside a Target in Closter dropped two bundles of merchandise and took off on foot, authorities said. Pair Nabbed For Stealing Nearly $3K In Electronics From Morris County Target: Police
Two men from Brooklyn were charged after police say they worked together to steal nearly $3,000 worth of electronics from a Morris County Target store. The men — whose names were not released — stole various electronic items totaling $2,749 from the Route 46 store on Thursday, Jan. 6, Washington Township police said in a release on Thursday, April 21.
