Friends Killed In Route 18 Crash Remembered With Motorcycle Ride Several events have been planned to remember two young friends and motorcyclists killed in a multi-vehicle crash earlier this week in Monmouth County. Ka'shon K. Cross, 18, of Hazlet, and Gregory K. 39-Year-Old Motorcyclist Killed In Garden State Parkway Crash A 39-year-old Lodi man died in a motorcycle crash on the Garden State Parkway. Juner Williams was heading north on a Suzuki when he lost control of his bike near milepost 156 in Clifton at 12:25 a.m. Sunday, New Jersey State Police Trooper Charles Marchan said. Williams was ejected from the bike after hitting a guardrail and died, Marchan said. The crash remains under investigation and there is no additional information available at the moment.

PA Motorcyclist Ejected Over NJ Turnpike, Falls 25 Feet To His Death Police have identified the motorcyclist who died after being ejected off of an elevated roadway on the NJ Turnpike and fell nearly 25 feet to his death. Jay Sills of Allentown, PA was headed eastbound near the Holland Tunnel approach on a Suzuki motorcycle when he struck a concrete barrier at milepost 7.9 around 4:20 p.m. Sunday, State Police Trooper Philip Curry said. Sills, 43, was ejected from his motorcycle and fell over the highway onto a dirt lot below, located near 14th and Monmouth Street, local and state police said. Sills was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities: Boy, 16, Was Driving SUV That Killed Motorcyclist In Clifton An SUV that struck and killed a 25-year-old motorcyclist in Clifton Friday night was driven by a 16-year-old boy, said authorities who took the teen into custody. The boy was driving a 2013 Hyundai Tuscon that slammed into the 2006 Suzuki at the intersection of Paulison and Union avenues around 9 p.m. Friday, ejecting Nadeem Asfour of Paterson, authorities said. Asfour was taken to St. Mary’s Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, they said. Update: Man Killed In Linden Motorcycle Crash Was Fords Resident, 21 Authorities in Linden Thursday identified the man killed in a motorcycle the day before as  Moustafa Elgendi, 21, of Fords.  Elgendi was riding a 2004 Suzuki north on Roselle Street collided with a 2007 Honda CRV around 6:20 p.m. Wednesday night.  Elgendi was pronounced dead at the scene.  The driver of the Honda, a 21-year-old Brooklyn man, was airlifted to University Hospital in Newark in critical condition. Ameir Logan, 18, was working on one of the stolen bikes in front of his Paterson home when Detective Walter Richmond and Officer Arthur Canestrino rolled up on him, authorities said.
