Honda Recalls 564K SUVs For Cold Weather Rust Risk Concern
Hundreds of thousands of Honda SUVs are being recalled due to concerns that road salt could cause the frame of the vehicle to rust and unintentionally detach parts of the rear suspension. Officials announced this week that Honda is recalling nearly 564,000 CR-V models that were produced between 2007 and 2011 that were sold in states where salt and other de-icing chemicals are used to clear roads during winter storms. The word "love" is in his name, and according to those who knew him, that's exactly what he embodied. Mike D'Amore was being mourned by many after an ATV crash that killed him in Lacey. D'Amore, 58, of Jackson, was riding on a 2019 Polaris Razor side-by-side off road vehicle, in an open dirt area of Lacey Materials when he hit a dirt embankment and went airborne around 5:20 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 4, local police said. Three Hospitalized When Vans Collide In Ho-Ho-Kus
Three people were hospitalized in a Ho-Ho-Kus crash Tuesday, Oct. 11. The minivan and the work van collided at the intersection of Wearimus and Deerhill roads sometime in the afternoon hours. Both occupants of the minivan, a man and woman, were hospitalized, as was the driver of the work van. The minivan driver was apparently issued a summons. Both vehicles were towed by CityWide towing. An off-duty Jersey City police officer was seriously burned while assisting at a crash scene in Kearny, when another driver passed road flares sparking a fire, authorities said. Authorities have identified the two people killed in the double-decker Megabus overturn on the NJ Turnpike Tuesday, Aug. 9, authorities said. Cheryl Johnson, 59, of Bronx, N.Y., was pronounced dead at the scene, while Cecilia Kiyanitza, 66, of Woodbury, N.J. was airlifted to an area hospital where she was later pronounced dead.
