There's apparently something rotten in the kitchens in Northern New Jersey.
Two North Jersey restaurants, Bask46 in Woodland Park and Da Mimmo in Dumont are being featured on the new season of "Kitchen Nightmares", which premiered on Monday, Sept. 25. The series, hosted by celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay, is returning after a 10-year absence and filmed the new season entirely in New York and New Jersey.

A former Northern New Jersey high school student and Citadel cadet has been charged in the Jan. 6 riots at the U.S. Capitol.
Elias Irizarry, 19, a Montclair High School graduate and a second-semester freshman at The Citadel Military College of South Carolina, was released from jail on a $25,000 bond, ABC4 reports.
Irizarry's father, Vincent Irizarry, played Deimos Kiriakis on NBC's "Days of our Lives," and was nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award in 1985 and 2002. He won in 2009.

North Jersey Among Priciest Places To Get Hitched In America
True love might be priceless, but a wedding in Northern New Jersey will leave your wallet hurting.
North and Central Jersey weddings are third most expensive in the U.S., averaging $51,287, according to a new survey of 13,000 brides and grooms by The Knot.
The national average is $29,858, and larger cities can cost nearly triple that, the report says.
The most expensive place in America to get hitched is Manhattan ($86,916) followed by Long Island ($57,343).
