Route 80 Motorcyclist Crashes, Local Lanes Closed Overnight In Bergen
A motorcyclist was hospitalized following an overnight crash Friday that closed the local lanes of Route 80 in Bergen County. The motorist went down shortly before 4 a.m. June 16 near mile marker 66.8 on the westbound highway in Ridgefield Park, New Jersey State Police Sgt. Philip Curry said. No other vehicles were involved, the sergeant said. ALS and BLS units responded along with state troopers, who are investigating the cause. The motorist was taken to Hackensack University Medical Center with injuries that Curry said weren't considered life-threatening.

Motorcyclist Hospitalized After Hitting Deer On 9W
A motorcyclist from Bergenfield was hospitalized after hitting a deer on Route 9W in Alpine, authorities said. The 22-year-old rider's Honda struck the deer on the road's southbound side just south of Alpine Scout Camp shortly before 10:30 a.m. Sunday, Alpine Police Chief Christopher Belcolle said. Members of the Demarest Volunteer Ambulance Corps took her to Hackensack University Medical Center with injuries to his shoulder and upper arm. The deer fled, he said.

Motorcyclist Hospitalized In Ridgewood Crash
A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a crash involving a garbage truck in Ridgewood. The collision occurred at the corner of North Monroe Street and dead-ended Woodfield Court around 10:30 a.m. Monday, Aug. 29. Members of the Ridgewood Volunteer Ambulance Corps took the motorcyclist to Hackensack University Medical Center. The extent of his injuries couldn't immediately be determined. A 25-year-old motorcyclist was flown to Morristown Memorial Hospital following a serious crash in Hunterdon County, police confirmed. The rider lost control of his Suzuki 750 near Route 629 just off Route 22 in Clinton Township around 2:30 p.m. on Monday, April 11, Clinton Township Police Sgt. Harry P. Bugal Jr. said in a release. The man was flown to the hospital with several serious injuries, authorities said. The crash remained under investigation by the Clinton Township Police Department.

Motorcyclist Killed In Meadowlands Crash
A motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene of a crash near the Meadowlands in East Rutherford early Wednesday evening, responders said. The victim, 25, from West New York went down on the ramp from southbound Route 120 to eastbound Route 3 across from the American Dream shortly after 5 p.m., East Rutherford Deputy Police Chief Phillip Taormina said. Critically Injured Motorcyclist Airlifted In Route 287 Crash
A critically injured motorcyclist was airlifted following a crash Saturday afternoon on Route 287 in Wanaque, responders said. The cyclist suffered severe head trauma and a broken leg crashing into a guardrail on the northbound side of the highway near mile marker 56 around 3:15 p.m., they said. UPDATE: A 31-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a Saturday afternoon crash on the Palisades Interstate Parkway in Alpine, authorities said. Motorcyclist Struck By Sedan In Woodcliff Lake
A motorcyclist was hospitalized with what authorities said weren't life-threatening injuries after being struck by a car Monday morning in Woodcliff Lake. The driver in the 10:45 a.m. crash on County Road "looked to be in her late 70s or early 80s," a witness said. The motorcyclist "was pretty shaken up but should be OK," a responder at the scene said.
