Twenty-nine bricks of heroin and eight grams of fentanyl were found by Pennsylvania State Police during a traffic stop of a New Jersey man, according to state police. Altamir Baldwin, 28 of Woodbridge, was stopped for a traffic violation near mile marker 68.2 on Interstate 81 near Harrisburg on May 27, say PSP. The Pennsylvania woman accused of stealing House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's laptop successfully petitioned the court to allow her 13 hours a day outside her home while she awaits trial, according to court records. Riley June Williams, 22 of Harrisburg, was arrested in Jan. on charges related to illegally entering the US Capitol building and later was charged with stealing Pelosi's laptop, according to the US Department of Justice. A Pennsylvania man was arrested by federal agents when he showed up at Newark Airport to collect a half-ton of khat that was flown in by freight container, authorities said. Azeez Adebari, 46, of Harrisburg, was listed as the consignee on a manifest and other documents the claimed the contents as clothing, ground melon and pepper, among other things, Acting U.S. Attorney Rachael A. Harrisburg Sex Offender Gets Life Behind Bars In Kyan King's Deadly Shooting
The registered sex offender accused of shooting 16-year-old Kyan King last August will spend the rest of his life behind bars pleaded guilty on Friday, officials said. Orlando P. Duarte shot and killed Kyan King, who was running naked near North 18th and Forster streets in Harrisburg, on Aug. 25, 2020. King later died at a local hospital. Duarte was a primary suspect as he was seen fleeing the area on foot, according to police. A 40-year-old pedestrian from Garfield was hospitalized with a leg and hip injury after she was struck Thursday morning while crossing Route 46 near a Saddle Brook shopping center, authorities said.
