Glen Rock Officer Nicholas Onove was on patrol just after 2:30 a.m. when he spotted two men in dark clothing near properties on Cornwall Road and Gibson Place. A Birch Road resident called 911 reporting two people inside her home, Franklin Lakes Police Capt. Robert Grassi said. Responding officers located a suspect vehicle, a white 2016 Ford Fusion, near the home and tried to conduct a motor vehicle stop. Assault Suspect, 29, Subdued By Officers After Foot Chase In Lyndhurst, Police Say A 29-year-old assault suspect is facing charges in Lyndhurst after leading officers on a foot pursuit then becoming combative during the arrest, police said. Lyndhurst Lt. Paul Haggerty and Officer Michael Carrino were called to a dispute on the 200 block of Orient Way around 7:30 p.m. Saturday, June 20, Detective Lt. Vincent Auteri said in a release.
