A concern citizen reported finding the man lying next to a tree on the side of Doremus Avenue near Faber Field around 10:22 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 13, Glen Rock Police Chief Dean Ackermann said. SWAT Standoff Ends With Weapons Seized In Union Authorities said they seized several weapons after an hours-long SWAT standoff in Union ended peacefully Monday night. The home on Arnet Avenue off Morris Avenue was evacuated of family members in the standoff, which began around 7:40 p.m. with a report of a man armed with a shotgun barricaded inside, responders said.
