Woman Whose Body Was Found on Orange Street Was Killed: Officials The Essex County Prosecutor's Office has begun a homicide investigation into the death of a woman whose decomposing body was found near an Orange funeral home last week.  The woman, who remains unidentified, was discovered April 9 near the Cotton Funeral Service on Main Street. Decomposing Body Found Near Orange Funeral Home The Essex County Prosecutor's Office is investigating after a body was found near an Orange funeral home Tuesday.  The body was discovered near a building owned by the Cotton Funeral Service on Main Street, WABC reported.  The prosecutor's office did not immediately have additional information, including a cause of death or the identity of the woman.
