A 27-year-old Hasbrouck Heights man who'd just gotten off a bus was struck by a car when he tried to run across a street, witnesses told police. The victim exited the commuter bus outside the TD Bank branch on Boulevard near Henry Street when he was struck by a Mercedes just after midnight Tuesday, Dec. 12, Police Lt. John Behr said. The 2001 Audi Quattro driven by Dmitriy Sidorenko, 50, went off the road on Boulevard at the Passaic Avenue Circle shortly before 8 p.m. Wednesday. A 59-year-old North Arlington man was hospitalized with injuries that weren't considered life-threatening after a car struck him in a Hasbrouck Heights crosswalk early Tuesday, authorities said. The pedestrian was crossing Boulevard around 8 a.m. when he was hit by a vehicle driven by a 27-year-old Lodi motorist making a left turn off Williams Avenue, Detective Lt. Michael Colaneri Jr. said.
