Support is surging for a family who lost everything in a Jersey City fire early Wednesday. They were among six families left homeless by the fire, which quickly spread to an adjoining building. More than $8,100 had been raised for the family as of Wednesday evening on a GoFundMe page. HO-HO-KUS, N.J. – Video shows a downed power line in Ho-Ho-Kus that ignited a tree limb, eventually sparking an underground explosion that popped two manhole covers – nearly hitting emergency responders.
