Franklin Lakes Board of Education Appoints Solimine To Fill Vacancy

FRANKLIN LAKES, N.J. -- Charles Anthony "Tony" Solimine was appointed by the K-8 Board of Education in a 5-2-1 vote to fill the short-term vacancy created by the resignation of Michael Ben-David in July, northjersey.com reports.

A two-year resident, Solimine was one of three people who applied to serve the remainder of Ben-David's term, which expires at the end of the year, according to northjersey.com

Solimine is a partner with the law firm McManimon, Scotland & Baumann LLC in Roseland. He has two sons, and previously served as an elected member of the Hawthorne Board of Education from April 2001 to September 2003.
