Jaime Bauer, 29, was taken into custody at the Boulder Run Shopping Center around 9 p.m. Friday after a passerby called to report him acting suspiciously, Lt. Joseph Soto said.
Officers found him carrying crack, heroin and drug paraphernalia -- all of which brought separate possession charges, Soto said.
Bauer was wanted on a burglary to auto warrant out of Midland Park, along with an outstanding drug warrant out of that town, records show.
He was brought to the Bergen County Jail, only to be released by a judge on Sunday under New Jersey's 2017 bail reform law.
Bauer was arrested by Wyckoff police on burglary charges in September after residents who'd had their home broken into before installed a security camera.

As in the recent case, a judge ordered him released pending a hearing, under the state Bail Reform/Speedy Trial Act.
Midland Park police also arrested him in March for driving while suspended. He again was released.
