Tractor-Trailer Tips On Route 287 In Franklin Lakes

A jack-knifed tractor-trailer hit a guardrail and lost its load, closing travel lanes on northbound Route 287 in Franklin Lakes late Monday afternoon.

Vehicles were getting by on the right shoulder.

Police said the driver sustained a minor injury in the 5 p.m. crash at mile marker 60.7, which sent a chunk of metal cart-wheeling down the center median.

Traffic was getting by on the shoulder.
