The 39-year-old mother was throwing a bottle into a trash can when the stroller rolled, according to CBS 2’s John Slattery.

A few good Samaritans followed after the woman jumped onto the tracks, spraining her ankle, while MTA workers with flashlights stopped the eastbound E train from pullinginto the station at Jamaica Center-Parsons Boulevard and Archer Avenue.

The child was OK, except for some bruises on her face, Slattery reported. Mother and daughter were taken to a local hospital, he said.
