She made $75G of accounts payable — to herself, prosecutor says

Sherlyne Mathieu, 36, of Spring Valley, was working for Medco Heath Solutions in Franklin Lakes when she billed the company from four bogus vendor accounts that she‘d created, Molinelli said.

An internal audit by Medco found that Mathieu, who is single, “used her ID number to access the internal system and create four fraudulent vendor accounts,” the prosecutor said. “None of these vendors were real companies that had any business relationship with Medco Health Solutions.”

Using her authority in accounts payable, she OK’d the payments — essentially to herself, he said.

Investigators from his office picked up Mathieu yesterday morning and charged her with theft. She was released pending grand jury action following a court appearance.
