Occupant Burned In Overnight Oakland House Fire

OAKLAND, N.J. -- One occupant was burned and two others escaped safely in an early morning Oakland house fire on Thursday, responders said.

The three-alarm ranch house blaze on Ryerson Avenue broke out just before 6 a.m.

The Bergen County Arson Investigations Unit was exploring the circumstances of the fast-moving blaze.

Joining their Oakland colleagues were firefighters from Franklin Lakes, Mahwah and Wyckoff.
