Motorcyclist hospitalized after deer crash on Route 208 in Franklin Lakes

YOU READ IT HERE FIRST: A 63-year-old motorcyclist was hospitalized after his bike struck a deer on Route 208 in Franklin Lakes last night.

Robert Minor of Kinnelon was headed north near Ewing Avenue on his Harley Davidson just before 8:30 p.m. when the deer ran in front of him, causing the collision, Lt. John Bakelaar said this morning.

Minor was taken to The Valley Hospital in Ridgewood, Bakelaar said.
