TSA agents summoned PAPD officers after 57-year-old Jalil Dewan checked his bags Wednesday morning, the authority’s Joseph Pentangelo said.

A check of the bags turned up the weapons and four boxes of pellets, he said.

Dewan confirmed that he’d packed them, Pentangelo said.

He was released on a ticket to appear in court on weapons possession charges.
