FRANKLIN LAKES, N.J. – Franklin Lakes police who crashed a party where underage drinkers were being served ended up charging three 18-year-olds.
Responding to reports of a loud party on Trailing Ridge Road just after 11:30 p.m. Tuesday, police discovered several underage drinkers, Capt. John Bakelaar said.
A resident, 18-year-old Dalton Graham, was charged with making alcohol available to underage drinkers, maintaining a nuisance and a borough noise violation, the captain said.
Charged with underage consumption of alcohol were John Connelly of Franklin Lakes and Michelina Castro of Wayne, both 18, he said.
Sgt. Donald Wilson and Officers Gerard Gansel and Michael Pelligrino investigated.
