FRANKLIN LAKES, N.J. – Franklin Lakes police were trying to find who purposely flooded a rental property under construction.

The owner of the Colonial Road property told police the vandal or vandals entered the building and caused the damage sometime between Thursday and Saturday, Capt. John Bakelaar said.

The Bergen County Sheriff’s Bureau of Criminal Identification collected evidence for processing.
