Franklin Lakes Makes Two Arrests

FRANKLIN LAKES, N.J. -- Police arrested one man on drug charges and another for failing to pay child support in separate incidents.

Fabian Colthirst, 26, of Maplewood, was charged with having marijuana, drugs on school property and in a motor vehicle, as well as drug paraphernalia possession, after he was approached on Aug. 9 while parked at the Colonial Road School, Lt. John Bakelaar said. He also received a summons for driving with a suspended license.

Anthony Rios, 34, of Paterson was arrested on an outstanding Passaic County Sheriff’s Department warrant for failing to pay child support after he was stopped on Mountain Avenue. He, too, was charged with driving with a suspended license.
