An Alpine Drive resident told police that someone stood on a patio chair and broke in through a rear bedroom window sometime between 6:22 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. and ransacked the master bedroom, Detective Lt. John Bakelaar said this morning.
“It appears that a yet-to-be-determined amount of jewelry was taken,” Bakelaar said.
The Bergen County Sheriff’s Bureau of Criminal Identification processed the crime scene for evidence.
