The first car rear-ended another after the driver didn't realize other vehicles had slowed in a construction zone north of Cedar Hill Avenue around 9:50 p.m., Lt. David Murphy told Daily Voice.
Two vehicles behind that one became involved, as well, he said.
Both victims were taken to The Valley Hospital in Ridgewood, the lieutenant said.
CityWide Towing hauled away two of the vehicles.
No summonses were issued.
