Arrest for Oakland massage parlor employee charged with prostitution

YOU READ IT HERE FIRST: Oakland police and the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office busted a 42-year-old massage parlor employee on prostitution charges today.

A two-month investigation led an undercover investigator to Massage 4 U on Ramapo Valley Road, near the Motor Vehicle office, where Hailan Jin of Flushing, Queens, “propositioned the detective for a sexual act in exchange for cash,” Police Chief Edward Kasper said.

Members of a special prosecutor’s task force and Oakland officers entered the business and took Jin into custody, Kasper said.

She was issued a disorderly persons summons returnable in Oakland Municipal Court.

“No one else connected with the massage parlor has been charged at this time,” Kasper said this afternoon.
