Robert J. Ebner Sr., 80, Of Franklin Lakes

FRANKLIN LAKES, N.J. -- Robert J. Ebner, a resident of Franklin Lakes, died Tuesday, Feb.9. He was 80.

He was the owner of the successful architectural woodwork business Ebner Woodwork Corp. in New York for 40 years. He also was the president of the Manufacturing Woodworkers Association of Greater New York for more than 20 years. He also was a popular Realtor with the McBride Agency and a parishioner of Most Blessed Sacrament R.C. Church, both in Franklin Lakes.

He is survived by his wife Elizabeth of Franklin Lakes; children Elizabeth Ebner and her husband Ian Moar of Arlington, Va., Robert J. Ebner Jr. of Flemington, Patricia M. Goldin and her husband Derek of Greensboro, N.C. and Katryn B. Seliskar and her husband Bob of Helena, Mont.; grandchildren Jane, Christine, Ty, Patrick, Robert, Grace, Victoria, Rae, Jonathon, Judson, Joseph, Katryn and Madeline; sisters Catherine, Mary Lou and Elizabeth; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will receive family and friends on from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday at Vander Plaat-Vermeulen Memorial Home, 530 High Mountain Road, Franklin Lakes.

There will be a funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Monday at Most Blessed Sacrament R.C. Church. Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in his memory to Sisters of St. Joseph Development; Mount Saint Joseph Convent; 9701 Germantown Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19118-2694.
