She was born April 21, 1965, in New York, and has lived in Bergen County for many years.
She earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing at Holy Name School of Nursing. Working at Holy Name Hospital and later Hackensack University Medical Center, she dedicated her life to taking care of her patients and always put others before herself.
She is survived by her mother, Emily Raia; three children, Gabriela, Alessandra, and Giuliana; brothers Peter and his wife Joyce, Michael and his wife Judy, and Joseph and his wife Jackie.
She was predeceased by her father Peter J. Raia Sr.
A memorial Mass will be offered at 10 a.m. Saturday at Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 787 Franklin Lake Road, Franklin Lakes.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to the Multiple Sclerosis National Society, Bergen-Passaic Chapter, 718 Teaneck Road, Teaneck, NJ 07666.
