Michael Joseph Fornaci, 61, Oakland Resident

OAKLAND, N.J. -- Michael Joseph Fornaci, an Oakland resident, died on Monday, Sept. 28. He was 61. 

Born in Philadelphia, he grew up in Waldwick and graduated from Paramus Catholic High School 1972.

He was a 1976 graduate of Monmouth University and has raised his family in Oakland. Fornaci owned and operated Hafco Foundry and Machine in Midland Park for more than 25 years. 

He was a board member of the ARC of New Jersey and organized their annual golf fund raiser. He was a parishioner of Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Oakland. 

He is survived by his wife, Gloria (Warkentin); four children, Ellen and her husband Edward Walsh, Christopher, Michael and Jeanette; grandsons, Evan and Eddie; and Mike Esposito, who became a member of the family and was loved like a son.
