Joseph J. Kroth, 76, Of Franklin Lakes

FRANKLIN LAKES, N.J. -- Joseph J. Kroth, a resident of Franklin Lakes, formerly of Wyckoff, died Monday, April 25. He was 76.

He was born in New York City and had resided in Wyckoff for 41 years, before moving to Franklin Lakes. 

He served as a U.S. Marine from 1957-62. He was a tax director for John Labatte, Inc. in Watchung, N.J., for nine years, retiring in 1997.

He was also the proprietor of Joseph J. Kroth Tax Accountant for more than 50 years.

He was a longtime parishioner of St. Elizabeth Roman Catholic Church in Wyckoff, where he served as an usher for many years.

He is survived by his daughters ToniAnn Di Domizio and her husband, Michael of Washingtonville, N.Y., and Keri Rigoli and her husband, James of Wyckoff; and grandchildren Matthew, Gabriella, Nicholas, Sophia and Francesca.

He was predeceased by his wife, Henrietta.

Visitation will be Wednesday, April 27 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, 257 Godwin Ave., Wyckoff. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, April 28, at 10 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Church, 700 Wyckoff Ave., Wyckoff. Interment to follow at Wyckoff Reformed Church Cemetery, Wyckoff.
