Born in the Bronx, Drexl was an Army veteran of the Korean War. Before he retired, in 1992, he was a lineman and supervisor with PSE&G, in Clifton.
He is survived by his children, Alan Drexl of Franklin, and Karen Becraft and her husband Kent of North Carolina; grandchildren Heather Bontrager and her husband Jeremy, Brian Becraft and his wife Rebecca, and Scott and Todd Drexl; and sister Betty Hahn and her husband Art.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon on Tuesday, Jan. 31, followed by a noon service at Vander Plaat-Vermeulen Memorial Home, 530 High Mountain Rd., in Franklin Lakes.
