Janet Pinkney, 79, Longtime Wyckoff Resident

WYCKOFF, N.J. -- Janet Pinkney, a longtime resident of Wyckoff, died on Wednesday, Feb. 10. She was 79.

Born in Paterson, Pinkney graduated from New York University with a master's degree in education. Before she retired, she was a library technician with the Johnson Public Library, in Hackensack. She worked there for 31 years.

She is a former member of Christ Church, in Hackensack.

Pinkney is survived by her longtime friends and caregivers, Susan and Robert Wiuff of Wyckoff.

A graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 13, at George Washington Memorial Park Cemetery, 234 Paramus Rd., in Paramus. The Vander Plaat Funeral Home, in Wyckoff, assisted with arrangements.
