The company will soon begin submitting plans for building permits, and has hired a person to help navigate the permitting process, the story says.
Stop & Shop – which has a store just about 200 feet away in the Boulder Run shopping center -- had long opposed the planned 62,000 square-foot ShopRite. But after the Bergen County Planning Board’s approval of the project was upheld by an appellate court in April, Stop & Shop declined to appeal the ruling, according to the story.
Inserra co-counsel James Jaworski said construction would start as soon as Inserra obtains the necessary permits, according to the article.
