The gallery is open to the public during box office hours from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays and noon to 4 p.m. Saturdays, as well as being available to patrons of scheduled performances.

Oberndorf will be offering a selection of works in a variety of sizes and genres. Although best known for his work capturing local landmarks around Bergen County, Oberndorf also has started accepting custom commissions from local homeowners. Paintings of homes in and around Wyckoff also will be exhibited.

Oberndorf’s artistic goal is to capture the mood of his subject through intelligent observation and execution of all natural light effects, alongside faithful rendering of perspective and creative composition. Most recently, his focus has been on capturing communal landmarks in pre-gentrified neighborhoods in Bergen County and New York City before their imminent demolition.

A Bergen County native, Oberndorf’s work currently is offered at galleries in the United States and Europe. Locally, his works can be viewed at The Westwood Gallery in Westwood and in the permanent collections of the Fritz Behnke Historical Museum in Paramus, Lambert Castle Museum in Paterson and the Middlesex County Museum in Piscataway.

The Bergen Performing Arts Center Intermezzo Art Gallery is at 30 N. Van Brunt St., Englewood.
