Douglas J. Wood, a senior partner and entertainment lawyer at Reed Smith in New York City has imagined that -- and written about it -- in his new book, "Presidential Conclusions," out April 3.
The novel is his third and final installment in his Samantha Harrison trilogy and draws upon the author's 35-plus years of law knowledge.
The story mirrors real-life in that it's 2021 and Harrison, as the 46th President, faces her greatest challenge -- how to keep a splintered nation together after another terrorist attack.
Wood, a longtime Wyckoff resident, will speak about his book -- and the countless people he interviewed who have lived in the real world of terrorism, politics and the law -- at the Bergen County Women's Republican Club on Monday, April 10 at 8 p.m.
