Runners, Their Fans Offered Sneak Peek Of Franklin Lakes Community Center

FRANKLIN LAKES, N.J. -- The ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new Franklin Lakes Community Center will take place at 8 a.m. Sunday at the start of the 3rd Annual Franklin Lakes Scenic Half-Marathon and 5K.

There will be a ribbon-cutting ceremony Sept. 27 for the new Franklin Lakes Community Center.

Take a tour and grab refreshments while you are waiting for your runner to finish.

The public is welcome to the grand opening, so tell your friends to stop by and see the new facility and state-of-the-art fitness center, massage area and exercise/meeting rooms the Wyckoff Family YMCA has created for its members.

Tours and refreshments will be ongoing from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The Franklin Lakes Community Center officially opens Monday; you can stop by for a tour and discuss the membership opportunities the Y provides.

Membership in the new facility is open to Franklin Lakes residents (at a preferred price) and to non-residents.

The Franklin Lakes Community Center is at One Vichiconti Way, Franklin Lakes.
