In what is always a community bonding evening, performers will take to the stage in Valley Middle School Cafeteria and showcase their singing, dancing and acting skills. Everything starts at 4:45 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 6 and is sponsored by the Oakland Public Events Committee.

Thomas "Chopper" Russo of Re/Max Traditions, one of this year's sponsors encourages residents young and old to come out. " It's a great event for the town and for the community," he says. "Bring the whole family!"

On Saturday, Dec. 5 at 12:30 p.m, Remax Traditions, the Oakland Community of Commerce, Oakland Public Events and the USA Marines will also host Toys for Tots with Santa at Busch Plaza in Oakland. Santa and his elves will be back a week later on Dec. 12 at 1:30 p.m.
