Mourning Dove Hatches At Franklin Lakes Animal Hospital

FRANKLIN LAKES, N.J. — A mourning dove hatched from its egg one week after a good samaritan dropped it off at the Franklin Lakes Animal Hospital on Monday.

The hospital will care for the baby bird until the end of the week when it will be transferred to Raptor Trust, in Millington, officials told Daily Voice.

The hospital last month cared for other young wildlife including a raccoon, fox, ducklings and more.
