FRANKLIN LAKES, N.J. — A baby lamb that would've gone to slaughter is being cared for at the Franklin Lakes Animal Hospital.
He came from a farm where he was rejected by his mom, and a good Samaritan surrendered him to Animal Friends of Franklin Lakes.
If it weren't for this person, the baby lamb would've gone to slaughter, hospital officials said.
He is going to Antler Ridge Wildlife Sanctuary on Wednesday, where he will live on a small farm.
