Cookbook Club Meets And Eats At Oakland Library

OAKLAND, N.J. -- The Oakland Public Library's Cookbook Club is meeting on May 9.

"Like a book club, members meet to discuss a specific book, in this case, a cookbook," a library Facebook post notes. "Meetings are a potluck meal, as each member cooks one recipe from the cookbook and brings it to the meeting."

Members discuss what they think of the cookbook and the recipes made. The club meets on the second Monday of the month -- and you don't have to be serious, experienced cook. Enthusiasm for cooking is what's important.
