Children Can Earn Their Fairy Wings At Wyckoff Class

WYCKOFF, N.J. -- An enchanting way to spend a wintry afternoon is being offered to children with a desire to earn their fairy wings, say Wyckoff recreation officials.

The Ice Dance Fairy Class is open to boys and girls in kindergarten through second grade.

It will be held at the Lincoln School from 4 to 5:30 p.m. on Thursdays, starting Jan. 7 and running through Feb. 4.

Hosted by The Happy Dance, the drop-off program will have crafting and face painting. Children will have fun while learning social skills social skills.

There are five steps to earning fairy wings, the Happy Dance folks say: fairy manners (snow wands); giving to the Earth (planting seeds); animals are our friends (animal feeder); fairy friends (friendship bracelets); and a fairy cocoa party with guest (fairy certificate & Wings).

The cost of the program is $125 per child.

Registration is required and space is limited.
