Wyckoff Honors Firefighters, Veterans At Memorial Day Services

WYCKOFF, N.J. -- Wyckoff will commemorate Memorial Day on Monday, May 30, with several events to honor those who do serve and have served the country, "especially those who gave their lives to ensure our freedom," the township notes.

The Firefighters Memorial Service is at 9 a.m., at Firehouse No. 1, directly behind Town Hall. The Veteran's Memorial Service will begin at 10 a.m., on the lawn of the Wyckoff Reformed Church on Wyckoff Avenue, which is the site of the township's war memorial.

The Memorial Day Parade will begin at 11:30 a.m., on Wyckoff Avenue, at the Cornerstone Christian Church. Participants will march out of the church's parking lot, turn left onto Wyckoff Avenue and continue down it, before turning right onto Main Street, then right on Franklin Avenue. The parade will end behind Town Hall at the Ambulance Corps building.

The public is invited to attend all of these events.
