Wyckoff Gears Up For Health Fair, Flu Clinic, Family Fun Run

WYCKOFF, N.J. – A health fair, 5K run and flu clinic is offered by the Wyckoff Board of Health in conjunction with the Wyckoff Education Foundation and the Mayor’s Wellness Campaign.

Events take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 17 at Eisenhower Middle School, 344 Calvin Court, Wyckoff. There is no parking in the school’s lot.

The health fair will have more than 20 exhibitors, as well as music, rides and games. Sign-in for the 5K run and 1K family run or walk opens at 8:30 a.m. The 5K runners take off at 10 a.m.; family walkers and runners at 11 a.m. All runners and walkers ride and play games free.

Flu vaccines will be given from 1-3 p.m. in the school cafeteria. The cost for those not on Medicare is $25, cash or check only. Children between 3-17 can get the vaccine with a parent or guardian present. Pre-registration with the Northwest Bergen Regional Health Commission is recommended by calling 201-445-7217.
