Wyckoff Boy Scouts Organize Flag Retirement Ceremony

WYCKOFF, N.J. -- Wyckoff's Boy Scout Troop 77 will be celebrating its 11th anniversary by respectfully retiring flags, on Thursday, June 16.

This retirement ceremony is an extension of an Eagle Scout project sponsored by Boy Scout Troop 77. The scouts have respectfully disassembled torn and tattered flags collected from a flag drop located at Vander Plaat Funeral Home.

"Please come and join us at this event," organizers note. "All families are welcome to enjoy this ceremony."

The ceremony will begin at 7 p.m. at Fire Company No.1, located at Scott Plaza, in Wyckoff.
