Oakland Education Foundation Heads Off To The Races

OAKLAND, N.J. -- The Oakland Education Foundation is hosting its annual ‘Night at the Races’ this weekend in an effort to raise funds for the steam operations at the Valley middle school. The event will be at the Preakness Hills Country Club in Wayne.

“The students have consistently come in first or second place in sciences and math; OEF tries to improve on one of the top school systems in NJ.” said Thomas 'Chopper' Russo of Chopper Russo Real Estate Group.

Tickets are $125 per person and includes open bar, butler passed hors d’oevres, gourmet food stations throughout the night, reserved seating option, DJ dancing, custom cigar rolling, casino games including horse racing event, $10 in Betting Bucks for racing and $50 in gaming chips for casino tables.

The evening will be held on Saturday, March 19 from 7-11 p.m. at Preakness Hills Country Club in Wayne.
