The vigil, which starts at 7:45 p.m., will include speeches from Charlene Hoverter of Ocean County who lost her sister to gun violence, as well as Bergen County Freeholder Chairwoman Tracy Zur.
“No community is immune to the potential devastation caused by gun violence. This is a conversation that must continue as we strive to enact policies that will keep our communities and residents safe,” Zur said.
The vigil is being hosted by Women For Progress, Moms Demand Action and Bergen County Brady Campaign.
