The bear was sighted near Sicomac Avenue, Wyckoff police said on Facebook. Officers are monitoring the area, police said. For safety reasons, do not approach or attempt to scare the bear, police said.
"It is important to give the bear space and allow it to continue its natural migration," police said. "The bear has shown no aggression."
