Atlantic City's mayor and schools superintendent were indicted after being accused of physically and emotionally abusing the couple's teen daughter, authorities said. A grand jury indicted Mayor Marty Small Sr., 50, and Dr. La'Quetta Small, 47, on Tuesday, Sept. 17, the Atlantic City Prosecutor's Office said in a news release. A 23-year-old Philadelphia man arrested in the murder of his grandparents and uncle in New Jersey called 9-1-1 and then told responding officers that he may be a suspect, according to police paperwork obtained by Daily Voice. A 57-year-old private contractor shot and killed his 58-year-old wife and teen son before turning the gun on himself in Morris County, authorities said.
