Newark Woman, 51, Critical After Being Struck By Car In Roselle Park A 51-year-old Newark woman was in critical condition after being struck by a car in Roselle Park, authorities said. The victim was crossing Westfield Avenue when she was struck near Locust Street by a 54-year-old Linden driver Friday night, Roselle Park Police Chief Daniel McCaffery said. The Linden driver remained at the seen. No summonses had been issued as of Saturday. The victim was taken to Newark's University Hospital.

Elizabeth Teen Arrested In Roselle Park Harassment Incident Roselle Park police have arrested an Elizabeth juvenile who allegedly harassed and striking a woman April 16.  Police previously had released a photo of the suspect, who was seen wearing a bomber jacket and riding a bicycle. He allegedly verbally accosted the woman before hitting her buttocks and riding off.  A youth who looks like the suspect seen in the photo was spotted by Officer James Cantrell near Westfield and Sherman avenues Friday morning.
