Cranford PD Investigating 'Suspicious' Incident Involving Driver, 12-Year-Old Cranford police are investigating after a driver asked a boy on a bicycle for directions, an incident similar to another encounter last month.  The 12-year-old boy was on Lexington Avenue near Unami Park around 6:15 p.m. Monday when a man in a dark-colored sedan stopped in traffic, asked for directions, and also asked if he would follow him, police said.
