A 41-year-old man has been arrested for stealing $9,300 worth of lottery tickets and then validating them, police in Somerset County said.
Joseph Holman, of Willingboro, broke the glass door of a convenience shop on Easton Avenue in Franklin Township sometime overnight Wednesday, March 13 and Thursday, March 14, and snatched the New Jersey Lottery tickets, Somerset County Prosecutor John P. McDonald said.

Newark Man Took $40K Worth Of Merch From Seven Cell Phone Stores: Linden PD
A 36-year-old Newark man was arrested and charged on Tuesday, March 19, with burglarizing seven cell phone stores in Linden in 2023, authorities said.
Teshawn Campbell's crime spree occurred between May and Sept. 2023, Capt. Christopher Guenther of the Linden Police Department said. Campbell stole more than $40,000 worth of merchandise and caused over $13,000 in damage during the burglaries, Guenther said.
Campbell, who was charged with six counts of burglary, along with theft and weapons offenses, remains in custody at the Middlesex County Jail, Guenther said.

A bank employee who'd just been fired bid goodbye to his co-workers, then walked into the vault and walked out with $35,250, Closter police said.
Video cameras captured Marvin Herrera, 25, of New Milford gathering up the cash and stuffing it under his coat before leaving the PNC Bank branch in Closter Plaza last Wednesday, March 27, Capt. Vincent Aiello said.

Cooking Oil Thieves Busted: Nutley PD
Two men were arrested and charged with stealing cooking oil from a restaurant in Nutley, authorities said.
On Saturday, Feb. 24, Lewis Cogman, a Belleville resident and Bashir Wilson, a Newark resident, stole the oil from a restaurant on Washington Avenue, causing damage to the parking lot, Chief Thomas Strumolo said.
Police identified Cogman and Wilson as the suspects and they were charged with theft, criminal mischief and defiant trespass, Strumolo said. They were issued summonses to appear in court, Strumolo said.
